Dana Cowell just emailed the below report and picture from Sekiu:
"The fishing at Sekiu has been slow, with fog and wind to deal with in the morning. I had a nice fish hit the Old Goat OG2 2.8 green and black in 100 ft of water, and 50 ft of wire on the DR. After a good run, the line went slack, and I thought I had lost the fish. I quickly started reeling my slack line in, on the chance the fish was swimming towards the boat. Surprise! The fish was now at the boat, and not ready to come in! After fighting a few more minutes, the hatchery Chinook finally slowed down, so I could net it. At 13.5 pounds, and 30 inches, the fish was almost too big for my net! The Old Goat OG2 Lure got the job done!" Dana! Thanks for putting the OG2s to work up there!
