Received the below report and photos from Trevor P. who has been fishing the fluoro-pink OG1 for the kokanee:
"Been slaying it with the OG1 Kokanee pink 2.44--trolled @ 1.5-1.8 mph in clear water. Managed to bag three 18-inch Kokanee in a lake where the usual is 12 inchers." Trevor: Thanks for the report and the photos! Appreciate both!

We're releasing several of our new OG spinners to our online store. If you're a trout, walleye, or kokanee fisherman, you'll want a couple of these new lures in your tackle box.
The counter-rotating blades on these spinners emit a unique vibration profile that triggers the strike. Courtesy of our master rigger, Jed W., we have a batch of new 3.8" OG2s for the salmon fishermen!
They're available through our online store.
I enjoyed a quick trip Thursday morning on the Ruby D as we chased the native coho. Captain Dale knows that local water and the fishery!
We used the outing as an opportunity to test the new OG spinner/hoochie rig and compare its effectiveness to the OG2 salmon lures. At the end of the day, the hoochie did ok; but, the most effective lure was the 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-green/chartreuse. (This lure was so effective that Captain Dale used it the next day when he was guiding four clients. They managed to catch their limit (10 fish) in under an hour. And, of those 10 fish, 6 were taken with the fluoro-green OG2!) If you're new to salmon fishing; or, if your boat is in the shop, and you need to get on the water, I'd highly recommend Captain Dale! Quick video of our trip below: Chris D. ran the first test of our OG spinner-blades with a hoochie today. Below is his report:
"Fished MA10 for resident coho and couldn't keep them off the new OG counter rotating blades with the hoochie! We quickly got five coho and got off the water before the pending thunderstorm this afternoon or else I'm sure the OG would have gotten us our limit. We lost a few at the boat thinking we didn't need a net for the little guys, rookie mistake." Chris: Absolutely appreciate the report and your willingness to put the new gear to work! Thank you! For those interested in purchasing, we're fine-tuning the blades and running a few more tests. Once this is done, the rigged spinners and hoochies will appear on our store. (Look for them towards the last week of June.) We're adding two new OG1s to our kokanee lineup: The 1.8" and the 2.13" in fluoro-green/chartreuse.
These lures are rigged with double size 4 hooks and a series of beads to keep the hooks on the trailing edge of the lure. Pictures below (1.8" on the left, 2.13" on the right):
