Quick, 2-minute, video with underwater footage of 3.3" OG2 from a trip last week to Sekiu. Lots of unclipped fish that we released. (On Wednesday morning, we caught 13 unclipped coho before we found a unicorn that was missing its adipose fin.)
The most effective color that day was the fluoro-white with black-scales. We were fishing with a flasher, or attractor, connected directly to the downrigger ball. The lure was fished 2 feet above and 6 feet behind the ball. All-in-all, had a great time on the water!

Jeff Peterson, who founded Kodiak Combos, in Old Harbor, Alaska sent the following photos of salmon he's taken this summer with the OG2!
This video captures a morning outing on Puget Sound: Fishing the OG2 for coho salmon.
Over the years, I've subscribed to a number of outdoor, fishing, and hunting publications. Some have been great resources in terms of building knowledge of particular aspects of a sport: Whether it's Bugle Magazine for the elk hunter, Sporting Classics for all around fish and game, or the tried and true like Outdoor Life. Others have been, more-or-less, advertising journals. Light on content; but, heavy on ads.
The guys at Northwest Fishing Reports have a new publication that's worth checking out: Northwest Reel Life. Each issue contains solid data for the northwest fisherman. Articles are well written. And, I've gained new insight each time I've picked it up. Check it out! (Here's a link.) Received the below report and photos from Jim V. who was fishing the OG2s out of Valdez for the coho: Jim: Thanks for the report and photos! Appreciate both!!
Had two hours yesterday morning before I needed to pack things up and depart Sekiu. Decided to make the best of it and get a short trip in. This video captures the outing:
