Took a couple of friends out to Rock Lake in Eastern Washington. Beautiful fall day!
We initially fished the north end of the lake; but, it's full of small planted rainbows. Decided to let these fish rest for another year and moved south, along the eastern shore about a mile. Picked up seven nice fish for the smoker: 3 German brown trout and 4 rainbows. The bulk of the fish came on a 2.8" OG1 in the perch pattern. We trolled this behind a 1.5 ounce crescent weight. (No flasher or attractor.) The 2nd most effective lure was a 1.8" OG1 in fluorescent pink. A few pics below:

One of our customers, Denny Whalen, has been putting the OG1 lures to use for trout in SW Washington. Below is his most recent report from a day ago (and a few pictures):
"Donn: What a day we had! Never had to use anything but the 2.44 inch orange OG1. I’m pretty sure we had at least 60 fish that we released between the two of us. We pretty much did the usual. 50 feet of mono attached to a sinking line that we let out about 1- 1/2 colors and tr...olled at about #2 or #3 on the electric motor. Most of the fish were 15-16 inches, but some got up just over 18 inches. To say the least we had a ball. We are looking forward to fishing the lake as soon as I get back from Utah. Can hardly wait. Thanks again for the lures. They have worked awesome for me each time I’ve used them. Tim says thanks too. Denny" Denny: Thanks for taking the time to fish the OG1 and submit this report!
