Fished Rock Lake yesterday and we took two limits of fish (all rainbows with one bonus kokanee). We started with the 2.44" perch OG1 which has been very effective in the past. But, experimented with other colors on the 2nd rod. As it turned out, the 1.8" fluoro-blue/fluoro-pink OG1 outfished everything in the boat. It caught 80% of our fish.
We were trolling around 2mph at a depth of 20 feet. Those fish are brining today. Headed for the smoker tomorrow!

Just wrapped up painting 250 lures that'll soon be getting their clear coat. If you fish winter Kings in Kachemak Bay, take a look at that 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-white/black-scales. If you fish the local coho in Puget Sound, try the 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-green/chartreuse. If you're stocking up for spring Chinook in the Columbia, try the 3.3" OG2 in fluoro-green/fluoro-orange. And, if you're fishing kokanee or trout, take a look at the 2.13" OG1s in fluoro-orange and fluoro-pink! |
