A week ago, the guys at NW Fishing Reports posted a photo of the stomach contents of one of their Chinook. It was full of Sand Lance (which are far thinner in profile when compared to the OG1).
I decided to experiment with the 3D printer and reduced the width of our OG1 design significantly--creating the OG2--a narrower version of the original lure. Painted the new lures on Saturday and mailed a few to several key contacts on Monday. (One of whom is Chris Dieringer.) Chris gave one of these lures to a buddy who tested this morning in the Puget Sound. Below is Chris' report: "Dr. Richie Dinubilo was out by point no point this morning. 135' on the downrigger. He said the OG2 had a nice wobble to it. He had 4 hits, lost one at the boat, and then landed his last fish." Many thanks to Chris and Dr. Dinubilo for running their tests! (See the results below.)

Chris Dieringer was fishing the Puget Sound this morning and took a nice Chinook on a 2.8" green/white OG1. He submitted the below report:
"Caught this morning in 70' of water. Ran a plug and coho killer. Only caught on the OG1." Chris: We absolutely appreciate your taking the time to test the OG1! Thank you! (Pictures below.) Skipper Terry Nied, who fishes Lake Michigan, sent the below photo of a nice King salmon that he took while trolling an OG1. (He's been adding tinsel to the hooks as shown in the photo.)
Terry: Thank you for taking the time to fish the OG1! We appreciate it! We've just added a batch of salmon lures to the online store. (To see how these lures fished out of Sekiu, Washington last summer and fall, scroll back to September and August 2016 in the blog.)
