Captain Terry Nied requested a few lures in fluorescent orange. I shipped them early last week and he put them to work on Saturday. Here's his report: "Had 3 hits, lost a big King, caught 2 nice fish. Fished 9 rods 4 hours so your lure held it's own..." Below are pictures of the two fish he took with the fluo. orange OG1: Many thanks to Captain Nied for putting the OG1 to the test in the Great Lakes! Absolutely appreciate it.
It goes without saying; but, if you're about to book a charter on Lake Michigan: Look up Captain Nied and Kristy Lynn Charters!

Captain Terry Nied sent us this picture of a nice rainbow trout taken in Lake Michigan yesterday with a 3.9" OG1 lure in blue/green. Many thanks to Captain Nied for taking the time to test and send a picture! If you're looking to fish Lake Michigan, look up Captain Nied and Kristy Lynn Charters!
Captain Danny at Ketchikan Charter Boats ran a test of our 4.8" blue/green OG1 for the King salmon a short time ago. They emailed the below picture: We appreciate their willingness to put our lures to the test! (If you're headed to Alaska, consider hiring Ketchikan Charter Boats for your next outing!)
Thank you! Although the fishing was a little slow, thoroughly enjoyed the time in Sekiu fishing for the chinook salmon! The staff at Olson's Resort (now Mason's) are great people. And, their facilities provided everything we needed (from moorage, to a campsite, to Mt. Dew, to a needed pack of 6/0 hooks).
Here's a quick video I threw together that highlights our tests of the OG1 lure. Fishing is slow in Sekiu, Washington for the Chinook salmon. But, we managed a keeper with the blue/green 3.9 inch.
