Received the following report and photo from Tim M. who is fishing the OG1s on the west side of Washington state for the rainbows:
"...We love the Old Goats and have caught hundreds of fish on them!" Tim: Thanks for the report and the photo! Appreciate both! (The big bow in the photo was taken with the 2.44" fluoro-orange OG1.)

A fishing guide in California, Mark D., requested two new colors in the 1.8" OG1 for his arsenal. We decided to paint up a batch of each. And, thanks to the work of our rigger, Jed W., we're making them available to everyone through the online store.
The first is a gold with white underside. The second is a fluoro-blue/fluoro-pink with white underside. These are rigged with 12 lb leader and tandem, size-4 hooks. If you fish kokanee or trout, you'll want a few of each color in your boat!
We've created a new 5" OG2 with a rattle-tail. This prototype has been shipped to nine fishermen from Alaska to SW Washington state.
We're looking forward to gathering some data and finding out how it does for the salmon and Lake Trout. The fluoro-green/fluoro-orange color was a top producer in the OG2 for salmon last summer. So, we decided to apply that color to the OG1 for the kokanee and trout fishermen. (We tested this lure in Rock Lake last February and it was very effective for the 'bows.)
Our master rigger, Jed W., went to work and rigged up a bunch of these new OG1s with tandem size 4 hooks. And, you get can get yours now via our online store! |
