I had the privilege of fishing with Captain Dave Grove, Rob Holman (of NW Fishing Reports), and Paul Hamilton in late February on Lake Roosevelt.
Rob just emailed me a link to a video he captured. It was a great day on the water! (My first time on Lake Roosevelt. Definitely looking forward to getting up there again to fish with Captain Grove!)

We just added a 3.3 inch fluorescent pink OG1 to the store. (The exterior is fluorescent pink; the interior is fluorescent white. It's tied with a 15lb fluorocarbon leader and a size 2 treble hook.)  The demand for the 1.8" fluorescent orange, 1.8" fluorescent pink, and the 2.8" perch caught us by surprise. (We recently sold out of all three.)
However, that issue has been remedied. As of this evening, new inventory has been painted, rigged and packaged. Click the store tab to order. Thanks! We just received the following report from Bob Pfeifer who fished Rock Lake yesterday:
"Got my order from Old Goat lures a week ago. Fished rock lake Saturday 3/4 with my son. Fished for about 6 hours from 9am to 3pm using OG1 pink and OG1 perch. Caught 4 browns, 8 steelhead plants, and 2 rainbows all in the 17" range released all but 3 of the steelhead. Very happy with my purchase will be a returning customer. Planning a Canada trip in June have you done any test on Pike with the OG1 or what would you recommend. Thanks again for a great product" Bob: Thanks for the report! (I was hoping to hit Rock yesterday myself--spent the day building/packaging lures instead. Your report is the next best thing!) We've added a new 2.44 inch OG1 to the lineup. We tested the 2.8 inch OG1 in fluorescent orange last week on Lake Roosevelt--fishing it alongside a number of other colors and sizes. This lure outfished the others. So, today, we added it to the store.  |
