Received the below report from Bob Milner regarding his 4/20 trip to Rufus Woods:
"Hi Donn, Well the water finally cleared up enough to get in some fishing. We hit Rufus Woods 4-20-17 launching at Seaton Grove Launch and heading down river fishing backwaters and eddies. We have been doing very good on walleye and triploids on all the standard gear so today we though we would dedicate the entire day to fishing your lures. I was using the mid size pink an...d green and my wife used the same size perch pattern. The problem today was finding a spot to fish that wasn't full of boats but every hole we pulled into produced fish, both trout and walleye on the same lure. There is a two trout limit unless fishing with a single barbless hook so next time that's how I will rig the lures so we can release trout and keep fishing for walleye. Banks lake walleye has been very slow so far this year but when we get into the post spawn fishing I am excited about using Oldgoat lures in shallow water, I know it's going to be great. Anybody that hasn't used your lures has really been missing out on a lot of fun. I will try to send pictures of yesterday's catch." Bob: Absolutely appreciate the report and your willingness to test the OG1 for walleye! (Attaching a picture below that Bob forwarded.)
