We spent a good bit of time experimenting with different OG2 colors and sizes for the Coho two weeks ago in Sekiu, Washington. At the end of the day, the most productive lure was our 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-green/chartreuse.
We fished this lure using the leader length out of the box. And, we fished it behind a 10" Big Al's Fish Flash. (See the photo below.) I like the minimal drag created by the Fish Flash. We've had issues periodically, with the standard 11" flashers, creating enough extra drag to cause our downrigger clips to release prematurely. This doesn't happen with the Fish Flash. In addition to the lure and the flasher, I attached a Pro Troll strike-lite to the fish flash. We run the strike-lite with an intermittent flash setting on the LED:
