Dana Cowell submitted the following report for yesterday's fishing out of Sekiu:
"Sekiu fishing report for 8-2-2017: ... Had a full day of fishing the waters of Sekiu today! My fishing partner, Winston McClanahan, and I hooked at least 29 fish in the 8 hours we were on the water. Except for the first couple hours, that I fished a herring-aid Coho Killer behind a dodger with a diver, all fish were hooked on Old Goat OG2's. The diver set up with the Coho Killer was hooking less fish than the Old Goat OG2/green hotspot-flasher/down rigger set up. So we fished the rest of the day with just OG2s on both poles. We fished all over with gear at 30 to 100 feet deep. We kept 2 of the 5 pinks we brought to the boat, released 2 nice sized wild Chinook and 1 nice wild Coho. Last fish of the day was a hatchery Chinook which we kept. Photos are of two of the fish we kept." Dana: Thanks for putting the OG2 to work out there!
