Took my nephew and brother out yesterday to fish the pinks near Point No Point in Puget Sound.
Experimented with a new configuration: Attaching an 11" flasher to the downrigger ball and then trolling an OG2 with six feet of line clipped-in directly above the flasher. We were trolling shallow with 24 feet on the cable in 100 feet of water. Took the salmon in the picture and missed a second one with the net at the boat. (The 2nd fish hit the 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-orange/fluoro-green.) In addition, we lost what we think was a decent king. It spat the hook after three long, deep runs.
