Bob Milner put the 1.8" OG1 to the test in Lake Chelan for the kokanee last week. Here's his report:
"We just returned from a trip to Lake Chelan for the Northwest Fishing Reports yearly get-together. We fished for Kokanee for three days with off the chart success. The third day of fishing I used a smaller pink Old Goat lure with 30” leader tipped with a kernel of anise scented pink corn behind a Kokabow dodge. In two hours I missed or lost at least twenty an...d boated nine Kokanee and one trout. I would have boated ten kokanee but I miscounted and shorted myself one fish. My next trip to Lake Chelan I will be targeting Mackinaw with Oldgoat lures. Your lures fish just as good or better than any thing else in my tackle box, I can’t wait to try them on Salmon in the river and Sockeye in Lake Wenatchee. Thanks for the great product. Bob Milner" Bob: Thanks for taking the time to test the OG1 on the kokanee. And, thanks for the kind words. Appreciate both! Below are a couple of pictures from his outing:
