Had a chance to head to Masons Resort in Sekiu, Washington this past week for a couple of days of fishing. The highlight was catching up with a good friend that I'd bow-hunted with for a number of years here in Idaho. It was an amazing trip.
Lots of fish. And, I do mean a lot of fish. But, since we could only keep the clipped coho, we left with a total of 4.
The morning bite was the most predictable. We fished 500 feet of water with 40 to 90 feet on the cable. (We started shallow as the sun was rising and then moved deeper.)
The hot lures were a new 5" glow-green OG2 and our standby--the 3.3" OG2 in blue/black-scales. The glow lure was especially effective in the early morning hour--before the sun had actually risen.
I'll try to keep the blog updated every so often: posting pictures submitted by customers, notes about recent tests, etc.
