Fall Trout Fishing: Eastern Washington State

Took a couple of friends out to Rock Lake in Eastern Washington. Beautiful fall day! 

We initially fished the north end of the lake; but, it's full of small planted rainbows. Decided to let these fish rest for another year and moved south, along the eastern shore about a mile. Picked up seven nice fish for the smoker: 3 German brown trout and 4 rainbows. 

The bulk of the fish came on a 2.8" OG1 in the perch pattern. We trolled this behind a 1.5 ounce crescent weight. (No flasher or attractor.) The 2nd most effective lure was a 1.8" OG1 in fluorescent pink.
