Made a trip to Mason's Resort in Sekiu, Washington at the end of last week. Fished Thursday and Friday for coho across the shipping lanes in Canadian water. (You can purchase a Canadian license online now. And, as long as you don't anchor or go ashore, you can cross the shipping lanes with your license and start fishing.)
We ran both 2.8" and 3.9" OG2s. A month ago, the 3.9" lures had outfished the 2.8" lures. But, this time around, the 2.8" lures were the ticket. And, the fluorescent white/black scales seemed to be the most effective color. We caught a number of wild fish which we released. But, we also took a nice hatchery buck. ​Short video below:
