Randy R. has been testing the OG1 in the Puget Sound for blackmouth. And, at times he's been doing this solo.
If you've ever tried to fish the salt, in a running tide, by yourself, you know this can be a challenge. Between dodging crab pots, and buoys, keeping the boat tracking, monitoring the down riggers and rods, it's a handful. (And, once a fish hits, it's even crazier.) He's likely one of the most dedicated salmon fishermen I've encountered as he's covered a lot of water this past winter--in a variety of conditions. Yesterday he sent me the below pictures of a nice hatchery fish he took with a fluorescent green 3.9" OG1. (Randy: Thanks for the hours you've spent helping with the lure tests--absolutely appreciate it!!)
