Received the following report from Dana C. who is fishing the new glow OG2 out of Sekiu this weekend:
"We fished the “Caves” at Sekiu this morning. The first hatchery Chinook was just legal at 23 inches, and we decided to keep it. Then at 7am the line popped out of the clip, I grabbed the pole and held the pole tip up, as line was peeling off the reel. This fish has some weight to it! Both down riggers up, deck cleared, and net ready. One long run, a shorter run, and the fish started to wear out. Finally the fish was on its side, and I could see it was a big hatchery Chinook! Into the net and into the boat. Both fish were caught using the Old Goat UV-filament 3.9 inch lure behind a UV flasher, in 65 feet of water, with 50 feet of cable on the down rigger. This second Chinook was 39 inches long and 24.3 pounds! This new Old Goat UV-filament 3.9 inch lure is the best ever! Thank you for continuing to make great lures, that put salmon in the box!" Dana! Thanks for the report and the photo! Fishermen: If you don't have the new glow OG2 in your tackle box, order one now--they're available through the store!
